Bat Girl
Peyton celebrated her first Halloween yesterday. She wore her costume to school, they had a parade for the big kids but not the babies. After school we went over to the Montgomery's for pizza and pictures. She really enjoyed her first Halloween and is already trying to decide what she should be next year!!

Rock star starts school early!
Daddy brought Peyton to school today. She wore her sunglasses and looked like a little rock star! The kids and teachers at Trinity all commented on her outfit and glasses upon her arrival this morning. Daddy let them all catch a glimpse and then whisked her off to band practice (I mean her classroom). He's already started grooming her for rock stardom.

hiccups and wife swap
Peyton gets the hiccups at least 3 times a day but thankfully they don't bother her. This particular night she had the hiccups while she was sitting on the couch watching wife swap.

Music Television
Peyton loves to watch tv but music tv is especially soothing when she is upset. Watch how she doesn't take her eyes off the tv. This is an old video at this point because I have been having a hard time loading. Enjoy!

SWIMMING
PEYTON's FIRST SWIM
She wore an itsy-bitsy teeny-weeney flower-dotted one piece swimsuit for her first swim! She didn't know what to think as the shock of the cold pool water engulfed her tiny feet. Her eyebrows shot up and her body tensed as she entered the lakehouse pool for the first time in her life. Luckily, the baby float kept most of her upper body dry so that her bottom half could acclimate to this brand new sensation. To our delight she embraced this experience after only a brief minute of cautious infant curiosity! Once relaxed, T-daddy floated her around the pool, pretending that she was navigating her own waverunner. To our delight, Peyton enjoyed the water with wide-eyed excitement, and so, we now know that she's going to be a natural swimmer just like Mommy and Daddy. Cannonball!!

Random Cute Pictures
I haven't posted much since we got home so I thought I would share a few of the really cute photos (they are all pretty cute but I tried to narrow it down). She is more alert every day and very content. I will try to keep up with this more often and also try not to overdo it but I can't promise anything!

The Nursery
We have finally completed the nursery and it looks better then I expected. At first we thought we would paint circles on the walls but then I found these amazing wall decals that are circles. This ended up saving us a lot of time and hassle. The decals are awesome as I can move them around all I want and when Peyton is big enough she can play with them as well. Everything followed the color scheme of the circles. The bright colors of the closet, bedding, boxes, etc. Our amazing friend, Chris, designed the closet and built it all himself. It gives us so much more room for all of her little clothes and little things. The glider and changing table were donated from her Aunt T and we painted these to match the black crib that Grammy and Poppy got for her. It took a few months to make it happen and of course I was concerned it wouldn't happen in time but as usual it all came together and there was no reason to worry! Thank you to everyone for your help. You know who you are (Chris, Mark, Troy & Jennifer)! Now we just have to wait a couple of weeks and we can bring her home to her new room!
