Peyton attended her first AthFest at the ripe old age of 3 weeks and 1 day! She was rocked to sleep while listening to the Whigs on the main stage Saturday night.

Random Cute Pictures
I haven't posted much since we got home so I thought I would share a few of the really cute photos (they are all pretty cute but I tried to narrow it down). She is more alert every day and very content. I will try to keep up with this more often and also try not to overdo it but I can't promise anything!

The Nursery
We have finally completed the nursery and it looks better then I expected. At first we thought we would paint circles on the walls but then I found these amazing wall decals that are circles. This ended up saving us a lot of time and hassle. The decals are awesome as I can move them around all I want and when Peyton is big enough she can play with them as well. Everything followed the color scheme of the circles. The bright colors of the closet, bedding, boxes, etc. Our amazing friend, Chris, designed the closet and built it all himself. It gives us so much more room for all of her little clothes and little things. The glider and changing table were donated from her Aunt T and we painted these to match the black crib that Grammy and Poppy got for her. It took a few months to make it happen and of course I was concerned it wouldn't happen in time but as usual it all came together and there was no reason to worry! Thank you to everyone for your help. You know who you are (Chris, Mark, Troy & Jennifer)! Now we just have to wait a couple of weeks and we can bring her home to her new room!

5 1/2 weeks to go
Overall this has been a great pregnancy. However... just this last week, things have become a lot rougher. I'll fill you in on a few items of note.
In other news, we (and by we I mean Troy) hasn't finished Peyton's nursery yet, however, we hope to have that finished over the weekend! (Our "village" is coming to the house this weekend to help us get it all done, we love the "village"). Oh, and if we didn't have enough on our collective "pregnancy plate", a new problem has transpired as of this week. What is it you ask? Well....Troy has been given 30 days to vacate his office in downtown Athens. A bar is moving in to the space above him and they want the downstairs as well and are willing to pay a LOT more then Troy & his partners would like to spend. So as of today he has 30 days to find another office. Oh yeah, he also has to book almost all of the bands for the outdoor stages at AthFest in the next 30 days as well as be home to massage my back & feet because, again, they look like Bigfoot feet by the end of the day. And Peyton is due to come in 38 days. So mathematically it could all get done with 8 days to spare, barring any further complications!
- I feel like and look like a whale.
- At the end of each day I have cankles and tree stump legs.
- My back aches constantly.
- I pee every hour if not more frequently.
- I have officially become stupid. I can not remember anything.
- The left side of my body has flattened out because all of the weight on it when I "sleep".
I understand that I have had it quite easy up to this point but it sucks right now. Ah, the "joys of pregnancy".

Happy little girl
We had the 3D/4D ultrasound done today. She wasn't cooperating fully, she is laying head down already and snuggled right up to my uterus. The tech was able to get some good shots though. She is defnitely happy right now because we saw her smile many different times. I don't know if it is because she knows we are going to have fish and chips for dinner tonight or she is just a happy little girl!

Just the beginning
We wanted to start this site so that there will be an easy way for everyone to keep up with the "Aubreys in Athens". Some other friends of ours did it first and we check it everyday to see what is going on with their new family. Please pass this on to anyone you think will enjoy watching the Aubrey family grow!
